Dr. Kaufmann fertility specialist Ft. WorthDr. Kaufmann is Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has over 18 years of experience as an infertility specialist.  He is currently the Medical Director of both Fort Worth Fertility, PA and Andrews Women Center at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth.

His background as a clinical fertility specialist, along with a caring staff and ancillary facilities, including a premiere IVF laboratory, affords Ft. Worth, Texas patients excellent care combined with a personalized approach.

Dr. Robert Kaufmann completed medical school at the Sackler School of Medicine/New York State Program, and an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and Reproductive Endocrinology Fellowship at Wayne State School of Medicine. He then received a prestigious NIH grant for research in preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), which he performed at the world-renowned Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia. He also served as an Assistant Professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Prior to coming to Fort Worth Fertility, he was Division Director of Reproductive Endocrinology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.

Fort Worth Fertility performs IVF procedures on site. It is the only free standing IVF facility in Fort Worth. Our laboratory is continually seeking to incorporate new and improved laboratory methods and procedures so that we can help you meet your goal, pregnancy!

Fertility specialists like Dr. Kaufmann undergo advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility and microsurgical techniques. A physician may offer fertility services and not be a fellowship trained specialist. Board certification as a fertility specialist is a guarantee that the physician graduated from a reputable fellowship program, and passed written and oral examinations. Studies indicate that treatment outcomes are better when a fertility specialist like Dr. Kaufmann is consulted.

Dr. Kaufmann has published and presented over 50 articles, abstracts and book chapters on various topics including in-vitro fertilization, blastocyst culturing and cryopreservation and donor egg donation and preimplantation genetic diagnosis.  He has also been Co-Chairman for the National Donor Oocyte Meeting for 5 years. In addition, Dr. Kaufmann serves as a Trustee of the Bedford Research Foundation, which is a non-profit organization with the mission of raising funds for research in reproductive medicine.

IVF Laboratories

Fort Worth Fertility performs IVF procedures at our state-of-the-art laboratory, Texas Reproductive Center. Our embryology laboratory is continually seeking to incorporate the newest methods and procedures so that we can help you achieve your dream of becoming pregnant. The lab is located in the same building as Fort Worth Fertility at 1800 Mistletoe Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas, 76104.
